Scott Chaskey on NOFA - Rematriation - and more


Organic Farming pioneer Scott Chaskey is retired director of the Quail Hill farm in Amagansett New York that he led for 30 years.

He was a founding member of the New York chapter of NOFA. the Northeast Farming Association 

Chaskey was our guest on the very first Sustainable East End.

We talked again with Scott Chaskey last week.  Here is that conversation:



Scott Chaskey’s book Seedtime: On the History, Husbandry, Politics and Promise of Seeds was published in 2014 by Rodale Press. 



Also Chaskey’s This Common Ground: Seasons On An Organic Farm was published by Putnam in 2005.
